“The sun watches what I do, but the moon knows all my secrets.”
This installation invites visitors to be part of an immersive spatial experience to evoke a sense of collective dreaming.
Through a specially designed orbiting apparatus, light and shadow will orbit and converge into a multi-sensorial, 4-dimensional larger than life shadow world. This world brings life to the stories hidden in the shadows of the city-scape.
The narratives in this imaginary city-scape is illuminatedbya singleorbiting beam of the ‘moon’. Visitors, as the citizens of this world, are invited to build and shape the experiential design of this dreamed up world.
This transient city-scape transforms throughout the night as the different ideals and interventions arrive and depart with the people, only the moon remains unflinching and undeterred.
This project was conceived and created at Nanyang Polytechnic with the students from Diploma in Spatial Design
