NYP Spatial Investigation Department with FireFlies Health Farm

This initiative stems from a project with FireFlies Health Farm where the students work towards a movement to empower our lives through food production. It aims to design strategies of participation, to encourage sensitivity and appreciation of basic practices in life, and to shift the current way we live.

We envisage a series of mobile farm portals that can travel to create situations and relationships in our city and neighbourhood.  We intend to spread and invite the participation of public to engage in the investment of kindness; a culture of sharing and the simple joy in reconnecting ourselves to others and the environment through basic daily practices.

These mobile farms portals shall attain their lives through re-adaptation and upcycling of found objects. They shall be found occupying unexpected spaces in our neighbourhood where spontaneous daily occurrences are celebrated.
